Start/Scheduled Date of Completion:
July 2016 - November 2018
SQN's Role on Project:
Construction is underway to rehabilitate the CTA Quincy Station, an 'L' stop in the loop that serves the Brown, Orange, Pink and Purple lines. The station, originally opened in 1897, is one of the oldest and best-preserved stations on the CTA system. The work will preserve the station's historic appearance while providing modern upgrades to provide better service to riders. The renovation includes new elevators for both the Inner Loop and Outer Loop platforms, stairway replacement, painting, and lighting improvements, making the station fully accessible and ADA compliant.
